Charity at a Discount

At Macy’s, Saturday October 13 is a red-letter day for saving money and supporting local charities.

Charity at a Discount
Macy’s department stores are setting aside October 13 as a day for shoppers to take advantage of unusual savings while raising money for nonprofits based in southwest Missouri. Purchase a $5 shopping pass from a participating local nonprofit, and you’re entitled to a range of discounts on most of Macy’s inventory. The nonprofit group gets to keep the $5 sum.

From 2–4 p.m., visit the ladies sportswear section in the Battlefield Mall Macy’s for refreshments and the Fashion for a Cure fashion show. It’s possible to purchase tickets at Macy’s registers the day of the event; your $5 benefits Macy’s designated national charities.

Macy’s Locations:
• Battlefield Mall, Springfield
• North Park Mall, Joplin
