Nicole & Dustin
April 11, 2009; True Hope Baptist Church, Springfield
Nicole Harriman played the role of the classic girl next door. She and Dusty Keyes started out as neighbors and dated for two years before the big day. Dusty creatively popped the question on Nicole’s 21st birthday at Schultz & Dooley’s. As she sang karaoke to Taylor Swift’s “Love Story,” Dusty got up and sang the part “Marry me [Nicole] you’ll never have to be alone, I love you and…” The crowd went wild!
The two were married just four months later. With a little luck and a lot of research, they pulled together a beautiful wedding in Springfield. Dusty’s family recommended Ezzo Photography, which the couple chose to shoot their wedding. “We would like to thank Misty Ezzo for going above and beyond on our portraits; they were better than I could have ever imagined,” Nicole says. Dusty is a Shrine member, so it was fitting that the couple held the reception at the Shrine Mosque. All in attendance had a fun-filled night, complete with oversized granny panties (which Dusty pulled out instead of a garter.) “We look forward to our lifetime commitment with years of laughter,” Nicole says.
