Bethany and Jerami
Bethany Oehring and Jerami Boultinghouse September 27, 2008; El Dorado Springs Church of God, Optimist Club
Bethany Oehring and Jerami Boultinghouse have an uncommon engagement story: Bethany proposed to Jerami. They defied conventional wedding stereotypes because she decided to pop the question instead of waiting for him to do it.
The two had been dating ever since hitting it off at a concert with a group of friends. They exchanged vows and held a cake reception at El Dorado Springs Church of God. Afterward, the wedding guests and party attended a small dance reception at the local Optimist Club.
The maid of honor was the bride’s cousin Courtney Bland, and the bridesmaids were friend Christie Hull and cousin Sara Foster. The best man was the groom’s friend Steve Jones, and the groomsmen were friends Jimmy Loane and Chuck Johnson.
The bride and her mother made all of the floral arrangements for the wedding, using artificial red and white roses. Jan Beltram made the cake, which was a four-tiered black and white cake adorned with polka dots. The bride bought her dress and veil at David’s Bridal.
The couple honeymooned in Branson. The bride is a licensed practical nurse at Community Springs Healthcare Facility and the groom is a mechanic at MJ’s Automotive and Custom Exhaust.
