When Liz returned home from college and began working at Normans Jewelry and Bridal Shoppe, UPS driver Justin Stoner asked who the new girl was. They told him it was the daughter of Brenda Norman, the shop’s owner. Justin thought she was cute and asked her on a date. Liz agreed, but later she got the flu and canceled. He thought she didn’t like him until she agreed to go out with him to dinner a few weeks later. This date led to many more, and Justin eventually popped the question in the kitchen of the house the couple bought together. They were married on September 27, 2008. The ceremony and reception were at Stoner Ridge Farm in Mack’s Creek.

The wedding had what planner Lenette Kujawa called a country-chic theme, with the décor elegantly combining simplistic details with high-end touches. The farm was set up with three main areas for the wedding, including a ceremony area, an appetizer area and a reception tent.

The couple had a large wedding party with a maid of honor and a best man, seven bridesmaids, seven groomsmen, eight flower girls and three ring-bearers. Adrienne Phelps was the maid of honor, and Katie Marlin, Brooke Wilbers, Diedre Watkins, Leah Wall, Kathleen Stoner, Sarah Cook and Tara Gormley were the bridesmaids. The best man was J.R. Stoufer, and Sam Willis, Darren Moulder, Josh Stoner, Doug Norman, Derik Whitworth, Kerry Yates and Danny Webster were the groomsmen.
