May 5, 2009; Ms. Gilmore's Carriage House at Hvmboldt Mansion
Brian Nichols married Katie Cole on May 30, 2009 at Ms. Gilmore’s Carriage House in Springfield. The ceremony was held outdoors, and the reception followed in the Carriage House. Joyful Sounds string ensemble provided music before, during and after the ceremony.
The reception included dancing on an outdoor patio and a buffet by ReRico. The Cake was by Celebrations by Sonja, and the photos were taken by Laura Stilson of Stilson Photography.
The best man was Brandon Nichols, and the groomsmen were Jake Taggart, Andy Sapp, Doug Olson and Chris Gares. Lesley Marshall was the maid of honor, and the bridesmaids were Colleen Pugsley, Danielle Forbis, Kelci Weter and Lydia Holland. There were no children in the ceremony, but the bride’s nephew, Jaxon Marshall, passed out bells to guests as they arrived so they could ring them after the ceremony finished.
The couple honeymooned in Ochos Rios, Jamaica.
